Angel’s Landing by Julia Rowe
Photos do little justice to the scope of this hike. We pushed through our fears and anxieties and climbed to the top of this. Something I can say setting out I wasn’t sure I was capable of and afterwards my knees felt like jelly but it was one of the most frightening and gratifying experiences of my life. Angel’s Landing is not for the weak of heart.

Sometimes the world seems to just open up in front of you bearing all that it can at once. This is how I felt about my time in Utah. With every turn in the road or trail, we were greeted with a new view, new vista, new geomorphic form or feature that only nature can create. Utah grounded me more than I had anticipated and I can’t wait until I get the chance to go back and feel that again. I can’t wait to find a new place as perfect as some of the little bits of Bryce Canyon made things feel and just be.
